Abuljadayel Factory for GRP Pipes and Fittings (aj pipe) is a modern factory with state-of-the-art technology and has the most modern and sophisticated production and testing equipment, capable of producing GRP pipes and fittings of 400 – 4000 mm in diameter and suitable for the following fields and
applications: Water transmission and distribution networks for both civil and industrial systems.
Sewer systems, gravity and forced mains for both urban and industrial applications.
Irrigation systems and main transmission lines.
Cooling sea water intakes and outfall systems for power and desalination plants.
In-plant water circulation systems for both sea water and desalinated water pipe lines.
Storm water collection and disposal networks.
Our design philosophy is to provide GRP pipes with properties and required safety factors that are necessary and sufficient for the pipe systems to perform for more than 50 years under specified operating conditions.

GRP pipes have the following advantages over traditional pipe systems:
Light weight and long length resulting in low transportation and installation cost.
Inherent corrosion resistance eliminating the need of expensive cathodes protection, costly wrapping, painting or lining.
Easy, flexible joining system reducing installation time and cost, avoiding infiltration / ex-filtration of ground water and allowing small changes in the pipe line without the need of expensive fittings.
Smooth interior surface reducing friction and minimizing the operating pumping cost of pressure lines.
(aj pipe) GRP pipes are produced by the continuous filament winding (laminating) process, using modern equipment controlled by computer, and producing laminates of constant and high physical properties, to meet and exceed the design requirements according to international standards.
All required materials are placed in the laminate structure in predetermined manner to give the optimum properties of pipe laminates, according to design and end-use project requirements.
PRODUCTS & PROPERTIES:
The following ranges of products are available: Pipe sizes from 400 – 4000mm.
GRP pipes are available in standard classes 2500, 5000, 10000 N/m2 and special pipes can be designed and manufactured if required.
GRP pipes are available for gravity sewers, 3, 6, 10, 12 and 16 bars operating pressures according to the following table.

The maximum angular change of direction between pipe axis (equally distributed at both sides of the coupling) must not exceed the amount given in the following table:

GRP fittings for all above diameters and pressure ranges are available and are made from the same pipe using the mitered process and are available for various connections, including flanges, to allow connection with other pipe products, ductile iron, steel, concrete, plastic and valves.
These most common fittings are Elbows, Tees, Wyes and Flanges to connect GRP pipes to other pipe materials. Fittings can be joined to GRP pipes using the Standard Double bell coupling, lamination process or flanges.
